1 cup plus 2 tablespoons hot tap water
1/4 cup oil (I use Crisco oil)
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon bread machine yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place ingredients in machine, select cycle and press start. Transfer to floured surface and set 15 minutes to rise. Knead 3 or 4 times and form into a 5”x9” loaf pan. Set aside to rise again 40 minutes and bake 25 to 35 minutes at 375 degrees F.
